This suggestion is a variation of the Pareto Principle using index cards. When you start to feel overwhelmed, stop and take out your index cards and write each task on a separate card. Once finished, put them all in one stack. Go through the stack and divide your cards into stacks called Action "Today" and then Action "Tomorrow". You should then focus on the index cards in the "Today" pile. Don't just do this when you're feeling stressed. Practice this each day to avoid any feelings of being overwhelmed.
