#17 Put Your Thoughts on Paper

Whenever we have a problem, the first thing we do is give it a "life" by internalizing our feelings and fretting over it nonstop. What that does is take up valuable time in our heads and keeps us so occupied that our productivity slows down and we start to get overwhelmed because we are spending a lot of time worrying about a solution to this problem.

Next time try this suggestion: Get your journal and write down the problem, why it's bothering you, and any solutions to the problem.  Take the problem's power away and stop it from taking over your every thought and wasting your time.
